What's included

The cost of the activity includes the assistance of an Official Guide of the Gran Paradiso National Park for the entire duration of the hike. The guide will coordinate and lead the excursion and, along the way, will offer observations of the Park's fauna and nature, as well as introductions to its history.
Participants must reach the meeting point and from there the start of the trail by private means (car) at their own expense, and meals and drinks are also not included

Before you go

Good to know

Please note that the activity requires a minimum of good general physical condition and previous experience on mountain trails, as well as appropriate footwear and clothing, although generally the trails will not be demanding. For your safety and that of others, people who are clearly not equipped or not in good physical condition will not be allowed to participate. The hike will take place from an altitude of 2,500 m up to 2,800 m, so it is not recommended if you suffer from serious heart or blood pressure problems. The length of the round-trip route is about 13 km with a total elevation gain of about 300 m. The first part is on a good dirt road and the second part is on a trail with some steep sections. Remember that you will return in the dark: therefore, a working flashlight or your phone's flashlight is mandatory for moving safely. Appropriate clothing is imperative given the altitude.
