Combo: Vatican Museums + Borghese Gallery Skip-the-Line Tickets

BEWARE! Dishonest Company, Terrible Experience, and Zero Accountability! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! Our experience was absolutely disgraceful, and I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting them with their money or vacation plans. We had confirmed Vatican reservations for 12:15 PM and arrived 15 minutes early, exactly as instructed on our tickets. When we arrived, we were shocked to discover that they did not have our tickets! Instead of taking responsibility, the representatives lied to us, claiming that the Vatican had changed our reservation. What they didn’t realize was that I understand Farsi, the language they were speaking to each other. I understood their conversation, which led me to believe they had sold our reserved tickets to someone else for a higher price. Rather than admitting what had happened, they tried to blame the Vatican. Their dishonesty completely ruined our day in Rome. We had carefully planned our itinerary around this reservation, and because of their actions, we missed our opportunity to visit the Vatican and had to rearrange our entire day. When you’re traveling internationally with limited time in each city, an experience like this is especially upsetting. And we weren’t the only victims of their terrible service! Another couple had booked and paid for an English-speaking guided tour, only to be placed in a Spanish-speaking tour instead. When they complained about not receiving the service they had purchased, the company refused to refund their money. To make matters worse, Headout was absolutely useless in resolving the situation. Despite the fact that the seller failed to provide the tickets and services we had paid for, Headout repeatedly hid behind the seller’s “non-refundable” policy. How can a company refuse a refund for a service it never provided? A non-refundable policy should not excuse a business from failing to honor a confirmed reservation. This was not a simple scheduling mistake. Based on what I witnessed, I believe this company engages in dishonest and misleading business practices, and Headout’s refusal to intervene makes the situation even worse. Save yourself the money, frustration, and disappointment. Book directly through the Vatican’s official website instead. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely unacceptable, and I would never trust this company or Headout again.

The tickets already belonged to someone else and had already been used, an absolute embarrassment. We didn't get through the checkpoints; I paid 150 euros and the tickets had already been used. They pulled us out of the line and treated us terribly... The worst experience ever: we paid 150 euros, the tickets said 25 and had already been used by other visitors—a complete scam.
