Know before you go – Castel del Monte

Due to site regulations, access to Castel del Monte is provided by a dedicated shuttle bus, which takes visitors directly to the castle area.
Visiting the exterior of the castle is free and does not require a ticket.
The approximately 1-hour stop allows you to admire the castle from the outside and take photographs.
If you wish, you can visit the interior of the castle on your own by purchasing an entrance ticket at the official box office on site.
