Slow Life Family Farm:
Our homestead is uniquely positioned inside the heart of the Grand Canyon of Sicily, within the protected Cassibile Nature Reserve. Unlike standard tours, our private access allows you to reach the river’s emerald pools in just a few steps from the farmhouse.
The Day Includes:
Estate tour: A guided exploration of our land, tracing the Greek and Roman archaeological layers.
Harvest: A hands-on harvest of seasonal Organic vegetables and wild herbs.
Mill to Table: Using a stone mill to grind ancient grains, followed by a masterclass in crafting handmade Sicilian ravioli.
Culinary Class: Fire cooking receipes and best Grandma receipes.
Heritage Tastings: Olive oils, mountain honeys, and local artisanal cheeses.
The Long Sunday Lunch: A shared family banquet with unlimited wine, served through our ancestral "Wine Ceremony" ritual.
River Access: Just steps away, swim in the river’s crystal-clear emerald basins and relax in the raw nature of the reserve.
