Authentic Civitavecchia: Market, Old Town and Local Lifestyle

Had a great day with Beatrice, Beatrice for full of knowledge about the local area and different landmarks, showed us some nice places too eat we decided on the Gelato, Thermal baths were set in a really nice setting up in the hills, the baths themselves were really warm, this is a local baths and we were the only 2 tourists there but were made to deal welcome, overall a great day, thank you Beatrice

Béatrice fût une super guide, à l’écoute des attentes de chacun et passionnée par sa ville. Par contre il n’était pas préciser que nous n’avions pas le transport tout au long de l’excursion ce qui nous a valus de porte toutes les affaires pour 4 personnes pour les thermes à la main pensant plusieurs heures. Si ceci avait été précisé nous aurions fait autrement. Les thermes à faire plutôt hors été pour que l’eau soit moins chaude 😅

We were surprised there was that much walking, but having said that, it was quite easy walking and Beatrice was very informative and adapted to the pace of our slower walkers. The transport to and from the thermal spa was very comfortable and efficient. The thermal spa itself was wonderful. Could have had a few more changing rooms though. Beatrice’s recommendation for lunch was great and the service was excellent. Final walk back to the port was past the fort and, again, Beatrice was really informative. Overall, a great day out.
