The excursion is approximately 8 hours long, with 5 hours of walking (approx. 12 km of distance walked with approx. 800m of height difference).
Participants must reach the starting point independelty (approx. 20 minutes driving from Verbania or Gravellona Toce).
Participants should be in relatively good physical condition.
The guide is trained in first aid and equipped with a GPS for emergencies (the hiking area has either poor or absent phone signal).
