The Mount Vesuvius part of the tour will take place with an audioguide + an expert tour leader assisting you through it, whereas you will be visiting Pompeii with a live in-person guide.
If you are traveling with suitcases, we recommend storing them in a luggage deposit (for example at the station or any facility of your choice) during the excursion. It may not always be possible to accommodate luggage on the minibus, as not all vehicles are equipped with a luggage compartment.

We visited Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. The experience was excellent. Our escort, Davide, was polite, very thorough, and gave us plenty of information about the area. The driver was also very good and experienced. Our guide in Pompeii was also great — very vivid in his explanations and did his best, within the limited time we had, to show us the most important sights. The time spent at Vesuvius was sufficient. For Pompeii, it will never be enough. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time on our trip. The archaeologist at Pompei was really knowledgeable and explained everything well. He was full of interesting facts. Disappointed that we were taken to a random shopping centre for lunch. Would’ve preferred to eat at Pompei and stay a bit longer. Mount Vesuvius was spectacular and well worth the visit. The views were wonderful. Got a beer at the top as well! Our driver was pleasant but didn’t talk much to the group. The trip was also delayed due to a technical issue! Overall, I would recommend this trip. Wonderful sights and a memorable experience.

Guide in Pompeii was excellent and really brought it to life. We were a bit late starting off due to some no shows to lunch was v short and not clear when we should take the opportunity (we grabbed a takeaway in the cafes at pompeii) Stopped at a little local business on the way back down Vesuvius to sample and buy some local limoncello and chocolates etc which was great.

A highly enjoyable and interesting trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, made all the better with our expert guides giving us amazing, detailed information throughout the day. Julia, our guide for Pompeii, was so knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. She was so passionate about it all as well, which made for such a brilliant day. We were only there for three hours (apparently, to see all of Pompeii would take three days!), but it was amazing to experience such a beautiful and historic place. Our guide, Mario, for Mount Vesuvius, was just as enthusiastic and welcoming, with some unbelievable knowledge about the volcano and the surrounding areas, as we made our way to the top to witness the stunning views of Naples. Even with a couple of difficult customers to deal with on the day, Mario remained very calm and professional. I would recommend this tour to anyone thinking of visiting Naples as it is well organised, enjoyable and great value for money!

A really great trip. Took all the hassle out of organising all the separate elements ourselves (I did look at that) and ensured you were in the right place at the right time. Our guide Davido was enthusiastic and spoke excellent English. The guide in Pompeii, Pablo was equally enthusiastic, clearly knowledgeable and loved the history, ensuring we saw all the good spots. We spent an hour at a new shopping mall for lunch with a good array of restaurants and quick eateries. We enjoyed Vesuvius, the walk is not challenging, even with an 11 year old and we were lucky that the clouds cleared for a while at the top, revealing great views. The audioguide app worked, but was a little dull so we just enjoyed the sights. It’s a little chilly and windy at the top, so bring some warm clothes. Milton bene, grazie . Ciao

The excursion to Vesuvius could have been shorter. We didn’t need two hours there, especially in the cold. I think one hour would have been ok. I would give that extra hour to Pompeii. That was un unforgettable experience! Antonieta was the perfect guide! She made the experience even better. I would love to have another hour in Pompeii, walking around and listening to her.

Overall, I had a positive experience. The service was excellent, and the tour guide was professional and knowledgeable. However, I felt the tour was slightly overpriced. Specifically, the Vesuvius portion of the tour didn't include a personal guide. Instead, we were given access to a self-guided audio tour app. While informative, it wasn't quite the same as having a live guide. On the other hand, the guided tour of Pompeii was fantastic and well worth the cost. I thoroughly enjoyed that part of the experience."
