Trieste: Napoleonic Way, Prosecco & Miramare Castle Walking Tour

Barbara out tour guide was phenomenal! As a fine art graduate student her knowledge of the local area was exempary. Her story telling was engaging and genuinely interesting. We took a bus to Opicina and then walked along the Napoleonic way with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Trieste. Our group was only four people so we all had opportunity to ask questions. The prosecco history was fascinating and the wine tasting was delicious and included in the price. Most importantly of all she knew the local way down from the Brutalist church to prosecco and then down the picturesque steps to Miramar castle which is like a fairy tale. This was all done in 30+ degree heat and she always kept us cool using good stopping points etc. My wife and I had a wonderful time and Barbara even gave us some personalised food/ restaurant recommendations after the tour ended. Highly recommended trip!
