Lucca: Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour

This tour was the best way to experience Lucca! Marika is a spectacular guide, who shared a great amount of knowledge regarding history, and everyday life. She has the only horse drawn carriage in Lucca. The skill of both Marika and Luigi (the horse) was impressive. Watching Luigi navigate everything in the city seamlessly was incredible to watch! He has favorite businesses where he will stop and they will bring him a snack. To experience the beauty of the city, the knowledge of Marika and the bond that Marika and Luigi have, made this a once in a lifetime experience. Best of all, we weren’t moving fast like a bus, so you can really take in the sights and travel through the town the way residents used to do hundreds of years ago. I highly recommend this amazing tour! Thanks again Marika!
