When is the best time to book activities in Capri?

Book your preferred boat tour as early as you can, especially for private departures in July and August, when the most sought-after slots sell out. Free cancellation removes the usual risk of committing ahead: you secure the date and time you want, then adjust if your travel plans or the forecast change.

How should I choose between Capri experiences with free cancellation?

Start with duration and focus. Two-hour excursions suit a quick pass by the caves and Faraglioni, three to four hours add proper swimming stops, and a full day lets you circle the island at an unhurried pace. Compare group size, departure point and what is included, then pick the format that matches your schedule.

About Capri

Capri rewards planning, but the island's weather and sea conditions can shift a booking at short notice — which is why flexible terms matter here more than almost anywhere. The private boat itineraries below pair that flexibility with the island's signature appeal: the Private Boat Tour of Capri: Discover Caves and Faraglioni covers the sea stacks and grottoes in three hours, while the Capri Private Boat Tour: Half Day of Relaxation and Swimming stretches the same coastline into a slower, swim-focused morning or afternoon.

Frequently asked questions

It means you can cancel your booking within the operator's stated window — usually up to 24 or 48 hours before departure — and receive a full refund, with no penalty. This matters on Capri because wind and swell can close the Grotta Azzurra or make certain crossings uncomfortable, so plans often need to move at short notice.
