When is the best time to book activities in Sorrento?

Book ahead for anything with limited places, especially private tours, boat days and cooking classes, which fill up fastest in late spring and summer. Several of Sorrento's most popular experiences are flagged as likely to sell out, so reserving a week or more in advance is sensible in peak season.

How do I choose between top-rated Sorrento experiences?

Start with how you want to spend the day: coastal scenery, archaeology, food, hiking or an evening of music. Then compare group size, duration and whether hotel or coast pickup is included, since a long Amalfi Coast day and a short opera evening demand very different energy.

About Sorrento

Sorrento rewards travellers who book well: the town's best-reviewed experiences pair local expertise with the landscapes and flavours that define this stretch of the Campania coast. A small-group Day Tour to Positano, Amalfi & Ravello from Sorrento covers the Amalfi Coast in a single day, while the Authentic Pasta & Pizza Cooking Class with Sorrento Coast Pickup turns a few hours into a hands-on lesson in Campanian cooking. These are the outings consistently rated highest by the people who have already been.
