About Monterosso al Mare
Monterosso al Mare is the Cinque Terre's largest village and its only true sandy-beach town, which makes it the natural departure point for seeing the coastline from the water. The standout option is the Day or Sunset Cruise of the Cinque Terre from Monterosso, a three-hour sail that times the light over the terraced cliffs, while the Vernazza Boat Tour: Morning, Afternoon or Sunset Aperitif Cruise suits travellers who want a shorter, aperitif-led outing. Both hold ratings above 4.7 from hundreds of reviewers, so the quality bar here is genuinely high.
