Before you go

Good to know

Guests will be dropped off at the same location they are picked up.
The nature walk is a moderate walk through the natural terrain of El Yunque. When it's raining in the rainforest, the trail can become muddy and the walk will be more challenging
Guests are welcome to bring a small bag or backpack that fits under the seat (think plane seat.) Anything larger than that will not be allowed on the bus.
The activity provider will not be held responsible for items or belongings lost or damaged during this adventure
El Yunque National Forest is monitored by the Puerto Rican Government. If conditions become hazardous and a portion of El Yunque is closed for the safety of guests, you will spend more time at Luquillo Beach and Los Kioskos

This adventure does not enter the ticketed section of El Yunque National Forest. Guests will not be required to purchase additional tickets
This adventure does not include the 2-hour hike to the peak or towers as that trail may not be suitable for all guests

Tony was right on time at pickup from our hotel in Candado. We stopped for breakfast for authentic PR pork, rice & beans. The slides in the rainforest were so much fun! Our guide, Tony made everything so much fun. He sent us all pictures and videos he took The final stop was at Luquillo Beach for cocktails and lunch on your own. Great time!

Our guide Jerry was great and did his best to keep everyone safe and well informed. The only problem was he was too tolerant to a few guest on the front row who kept talking real loud amongst themselves, making it hard for us to hear him as he had no microphone. The small bus/van had good AC, but it was not the cleanest nor in best physical condition (more like an old school bus). I hope that was not his own van and that his employer should supply a better vehicle for us. Thanks to Jerry anyway!

It needs to be said on the website that managing the trails can be difficult for those with balance issues. My wife slipped. She was okay but for her it was a disappointment. And she is in good health. The guides Brandon and Jose were helpful but some thing needs to be done to make the trails safer and easier to manage.
