We had the best time with Paola! She invited us into her home on her and her husband‘s anniversary. It was so fun to be able to meet and talk to them about their life and their culture. The ravioli we made was delicious and we got to sit out on their terrace with a beautiful view, they even let us try their homemade lemoncello. I would highly recommend this experience.

We were invited to Roberto’s house and we had a great evening. They showed us the techniques and gave extra insights after which we had a lovely dinner in their garden. Since Roberto’s house is a bit outside of La Spezia we were trying to figure out public transport, but Roberto kindly offered to pick us up and drop us off, which was very helpful! Overall, we had a great time with a lot of great food

Nico and Mari are the best hosts you can ask for! They provided a warm atmosphere; it felt like I was cooking with family. Every dish that we helped prepare was full of flavor. Even though we had a nut and dairy allergy, Mari graciously accommodated our needs. You cook on their property in an outside kitchen which is basically a resort with picturesque scenery. You might even see their cat, chestnut, roaming around. It was easy to get to from the cruise port and they even called a taxi for us for our way back. There was great communication if any questions arise. I heard they are planning to make an Airbnb on the same property-going to plan that trip as soon as they start!
