Montepulciano: Weingut-Tour, Verkostung & Weinberg-Picknick mit Toskana-Blick

We had a fabulous time with our guide Mirko, who is the head winemaker. He was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. He happily answered all of our questions. The tasting included 2 glasses of their red wine. The picnic was delicious and plenty of food and included a full bottle of wine. They were able to accommodate gluten free. They mostly make red wine here and we ordered some wine to bring home.

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at the Podere Casanova Winery. The grounds were stunning and our guide Emanuele was outstanding. He was very kind, knowledgeable and engaging and his passion for viticulture came through in his explanation of the wines varietals. We were also provided a delicious lunch. The lasagna was the best I have ever had! It was such a pleasure to visit Podere Casanova and would love to return on our next trip to Italy.

Emanuele was our guide. He was kind, informative, and helpful. It was a small group for our tour and we had an incredible time! The wine was great and the property was beautiful. We did the picnic and we highly recommend. It has everything we needed. Our picnic included lasagne which was cooked to perfection. It also included meats, cheese, and bread. Dessert too! And an additional bottle of wine. After an incredible experience, Emanuele helped us back to the train station in order to for us to make it back to our lodging in Florence. The tour was everything we hoped for! Emanuele was top-notch guide and helper. WE CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!! If we could, we’d definitely return again. Thank you for a lovely time!

Rebecca was so kind, attentive, and she speaks English well. We toured the grounds, asked lots of questions, and learned more than any wine tour we had been on before. We even had our toddler with us, which can be a challenge. They were extremly accommodating. As for the wine. Isadoro is a perfectionist about his wine and it certainly shows. This is wine made with love, not mass produced and shipped away to those that could not appreciate the amount of time, energy, and passion that has gone into this incredible art. We ordered with absolute confidence that we were getting the best possible product for the money. We even got great recommendations for local produce, meats, cheese, and even more great wine. The whole experience was terrific and it will be a fond memory for us.
