Salerno: Geführte Pompeji-Wanderung mit Skip-the-Line-Zugang

Actual tour time was 2 hours in the property and it’s massive so won’t see much of it, especially if a larger group. Overall informative and good tour but would have appreciated a slightly faster pace to see more in the time we had (I’m sure varies by guide) and my audio device died halfway through and there was no backup option so took away a bit from experience.

The guide was excellent… Very knowledgable and had a very dry sense of humor… We thoroughly enjoyed learning about Pompeii. She gave us a lot of very interesting information and an informative tour. We feel however, that we had to wait far too long once we arrived in Pompeii from Salerno. The driver picked us up at 10:05 and did not speak to us at all all the way to Salerno and then once we arrived, we were met by a representative from the tour company and we were then brought to another meeting place where we waited for 45 minutes for our guide. That was far too long… The tour itself was two hours but the whole experience that we paid for was four hours. We feel that the value of this was low.

Best Purchase Decision! I booked less than 15 hours before tour. They don’t have license to pick you up at the cruise port so you have to walk a short 2 minute walk to van. Van is new, spacious, clean, has AC. Left on time. Drive took 30minutes. Tour organizer met us at the bus. Organized confusion following her to meet our guide. She had several groups to manage. Given an over the ear device. They appeared clean but I wiped mine down with a wipe. We were able to hear guide clearly. Our tour guide (I forgot her name) was amazing! Pompeii is huge! I loved how she began the tour explaining the lay out of homes, armed with that education, the rooms that we passed then became easy to distinguish. Her knowledge of the site was top notch. We were given the opportunity to take photos. We were not rushed. Our group size was small about 20 people. I did notice that as we approached 1hr 15min, the earphone was losing its ability to connect from further distances. Quick return ride. 4hr total
