Brilliant tour. Our guide was informative but fun too. Only thing I had trouble with is that the ear piece was for the right ear and I’m deaf in that ear! I managed to hook it on my left ear although fell off a few times. It was a great trip and we really enjoyed it. Good value for money.

I loved it, being short on time , this tour was perfect. Transport was great, on time pick up and drop off to hotel. The guide was excellent, she was knowledgeable, humorous and conveyed a holistic view in short time. She was empathetic and was able to showcase Pompei not only from the lens of ruins and history but also the tragic loss of lives that followed Mt Vesuvius’s eruption.

Rafaella, the guide was so knowledgeable and her explanations were great and tailored to the group. The transportation was very efficient, although we didn’t understand that our small group from Salerno would be joining other English speaking guests from other cities; no matter, it all worked well, and we had no problem receiving the ear pieces so that we could hear.

The tour was good, I am glad I booked a guide, as Pompeii is huge. The guide was friendly and kind and did a pretty good job of sharing the history of Pompeii while keeping the group together. The driver from Salerno was on time and very kind. He even stopped at a pull-over on the way back so I could get a better picture of the scenery, which was so thoughtful. I really enjoyed the ride. I was under the impression that the guide was driving us from Salerno and then guiding us through Pompeii, which is not the case. You are driven there in a comfy van, handed off to another person who will show you where to meet the guide, give you your earpiece, and tell you your guide's name. For the most part, it was pretty seamless. However, I wish the guide would have been standing with a sign with her name on it because I was a bit confused as to where she was standing while other groups were also gathering in the same spot. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend.
