Pompeji, Sorrento & Positano Tour ab Neapel/Salerno: Geschichte, Ausblicke & Aromen

It was great that we were able to visit two locations in a single day and spend around two hours at each stop. However, I wish we had more time in Pompeii, as we only managed to cover about a quarter of the site within the allotted two hours. Giorgia was an excellent guide. She communicated clearly, provided helpful instructions, and made sure everyone knew how to return to the designated meeting point in Pompeii. Overall, she did a very good job leading the tour. Additionally, the tour title is somewhat misleading. It prominently mentions Positano, which suggests that visitors will have the opportunity to explore the town itself. However, only by reading the detailed itinerary does it become clear that Positano is viewed from a distance rather than visited directly. Clearer wording in the tour title or description would help set more accurate expectations.

This tour is perfect for cruisers. The company picked us up and dropped us off right at the port. Great communication from the guide. Safe driver. I do wish we started the tour with Pompeii as it was very hot with little shade when we got there at 1pm. It makes more sense logistically to do Pompeii and then the Positano overlook and then Sorrento. I also wish the entrance ticket had been included in the ticket tour price.

Great experience for the money. Our amazing tour guide Ghazal who was helpful, knowledgeable and easy to understand and man of steel driver Alfredo who handled those hair pin turns and tiny parking areas like an absolute pro made sure our trip went smoothly we got picture opportunities on the amalfi coast plenty of food and shopping time in Sorrento and a whirlwind visit to Pompeii. Ghazal made sure we stayed on time to get the most out of each stop and shared useful info about the area as we drove along. This trip was over double the cost thru the cruise ship so this was a great price and only complaint is if you’re over 6 ft the shuttle bus is very tight squeeze for leg space.

it was a great way to see many of the highlights in Naples, Almafi Coast and Pompeii. Sorrento was a beautiful charming town where we had lunch. Positano was stunning, but it was only a quick picture stop really, we didn't spend much time there. Pompeii was so impressive, truly a city frozen in time. We u fortunately booked our tickets into Pompeii with a separate service because we weren't aware we could buy through this tour, and that was a complete disaster, so I recommend booking with the tour company. They were well organized and were extremely accommodating to all of the group, very friendly and shared many insights to the sights as we drove to each stop.
