8-Stunden-Tour durch die Barockstädte: Noto, Modica, Ragusa und Ortigia

The tour with Daniel started early morning, he picked us up from our location in Ortigia and our first stop was Noto. It was great timing as it wasn't overcrowded, so we had 2.5hrs here to walk around and admire the beauty of Noto. Daniel was very flexible with the time spent here and waited patiently for us. On our return to the car he provided us with cold water and some traditional almond pastries. Our next stop was Ragusa. Again Daniel gave us ample time to see this the attractions and also stop for lunch which wasn't included in the tour. Our final city was Modica where there was a magnificent church with some amazing views and then we stopped of at a shop that had Modica chocolate, here we sampled the different flavours and could buy the chocolate. Daniel then dropped us off to our pick up location in Ortigia. Daniel was a careful driver, his English wasn't that good but with a bit of sign language we managed to communicate just fine. It's a great way to see the 3 baroque cities

It was so easy to visit these beautiful towns with Daniele picking us up and dropping us right in the centre of each town. No driving, finding our way or looking for parking. Daniele gave us basic instructions at each town then we explored on our own for as long as we wanted. Highly recommended and avoided the need to go stay overnight in these places.

We really enjoyed our tour with Corrado today. He was great and went out of his way to make sure we saw all the things we were hoping to. The the tour covered off 3 places that we could not have done using public transport in 1 day. The tour also saved time by dropping us as close as possible to sights. The vehicle was immaculate. I had a wonderful experience on the 8-hour tour of the Baroque cities—Noto, Modica, Ragusa, and Ortigia—thanks to our driver. Despite having limited English proficiency, he made a commendable effort to ensure key information was translated from Sicilian to English, which greatly enhanced our understanding of the sites. He drove safely and responsibly throughout the journey, making us feel comfortable and secure. Although the tour did not include a guide, he went above and beyond by sharing interesting historical insights at various stops. He was also kind enough to help us capture memorable moments by taking photos. Overall, his dedication, thoughtfulness, and professionalism made the tour truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Our guide who drove us to the cities was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and a great driver. The only problem was that the advertised free lunch was not provided. Our guide did not know anything about it and so we had to go off and organise and pay for our own lunch. So if you are thinking about booking this tour add the cost of lunch for 4 people to the tour price.
