The time at Mount Vesuvius (90 min) was enough to go up, down, take photos... I felt let down that our escort didn't say anything at all during the bus ride. Just instructions, but a little info about Vesuvius, the area... It would have been nice, I don't know, to mention the elevation, the last eruption (you could see the lava flows), talk about the Lacryma Christi. Or anything else. That would make the tour so much better.

The transport to Mt Vesuvius is really well organised. I went on my own and felt looked after and informed the entire time. Travelling with Head Out made the visit to the park easy. We were given about an hour and a half to climb, enjoy the top and get back down again. I thoroughly recommend this tour company if you'd like to get to Vesuvius easily. A great morning out!

A beautiful day for a very nice visit to Mount Vesuvius. You can see the entire crater. It is important to wear good shoes because the trail is steep and rocky. Good organization and a punctual team. The guide gave us the essential information in French. For the rest, she was easy to understand. It wouldn't really have been possible to get there by public transportation. We recommend it.

According to the specifications of the tour I purchased through your platform (screenshot attached), the service was supposed to include a private volcanologist guide whose explanations would begin inside the bus itself (with air conditioning, which, by the way, did not work either). However, the actual experience was completely different and fraudulent for the following reasons: -Lack of the hired private guide: After waiting for more than 30 minutes at the park entrance, the staff informed me that there was no assigned guide and that the guides "were up at the crater." -Misleading advertising regarding the service: The guides at the crater are the public guides of the National Park, whose service is already included for free in the basic general admission (11 euros). I paid a considerable extra amount to have a private guide specific to the tour, a service that was never provided. I was able to confirm that other passengers on my same bus paid 30 euros for the option with an audio guide. In my case, I paid nearly 50 euros for a private guide service that did not exist, receiving exactly the same service as the others but at a much higher price. -Non-existence of the service: During the tour, I checked the situation with private guides from other agencies. None of them could accept me into their group, and they confirmed that the company Around Vesuvio does not have private guides on site. For all of the above reasons, I consider myself to have been the victim of a scam and of absolute dissatisfaction with the service provided by your partner supplier...

The experience was wonderful but the bus was late in getting to the meeting point. We were asked to arrive 20min early in the blazing heat, and having the bus get there by at least the starting time would have been great. Besides that, no issues. Everything was organized and the experience of entering the hiking area and the transport were great.
