The mini bus was full so I had to sit on the very cramped middle front seat so pretty uncomfortable. Guiseppe, our guide, was very knowledgable. The lava cave visit was very difficult and only for the fitter members of the group. Made more difficult by only having hand held torches - other groups had head torches. We were only told on the journey to Etna that we would not be able to see the summit unless we went up the cable car at €80 pp. The hike was also difficult with a lot of scrambling on scree. Certainly not the easy hike that we had been sold.
