Tour del Vino nel Castello e Villa Storica a Chianti Rufina

Being a sommelier, Hillary made this tour special. She also was very knowledgeable about the Florentine culture and showed us a tour attraction that otherwised we would have missed (old monastery). By far, she was our favorite tour quide during our stay in Italy. As for the wineries, the first winery was beautiful and we were made to feel like family by the owner. The second one while interesting, was not as great...not as personal and pours were on the skimpy side. Overall, My husband I came away with a greater appreciation of Italian wine. One recommendation to viewers, is to take the tour earlier in your stay in Florence. That way you are bit more knowledgeable of what you are ordering in the restaurants.
