Visita guidata alla Galleria dell'Accademia e agli Uffizi a Firenze

We had a great tour guide who was an art historian (Rachel) at Uffizi. However, the tour company sent us to their other office later for the Accademia tour. We got to that office at the specific time they told us to arrive … but the tour already left !!! Our option was to wait 90 minutes for the next tour or join another tour company in 10 mins. We choose the latter so our review for this tour is mixed- Uffizi part was great, Accademia part was unorganized.

These are two completely different tours. The description stated the tour being about 3 hours. The beginning time was listed at 9:30 AM. There was no 9:30 tour. The tour began at 10 AM. It is suggested you arrive 15 minutes prior, so I was there now 45 minutes in advance. The Accedemia tour was informative but brief (less than an hour). A museum head set tour would have been more cost effective and detailed to be honest. Having a paid guide just helped us enter much more quickly than the general admission line. When I booked, I planned on completing the tour no later than 1 PM. What this company did without explaining is booking two completing different tours. The Uffizi tour didn't start until 1PM!!!. I had 2 hours to kill. That just isn't right. DO NOT book this tour if your time is precious to you. The Uffizi tour was interesting, however, I had another scheduled tour at 2:30 PM, so I left with half the tour remaining. Book your own separate tours yourself on your own schedule.

Our tour was 30 minutes delayed in which they notified us 1 day prior. It was supposed to be a combined tour of Uffizi and Accademi. We got there they said that the tour was now spilt and there was an hour break. Our first tour guide Julia, was AMAZING, I wish we could have kept her. The company was so disorganized, my Green Tour. We rushed the Uffizi to get to the Accademia then had to wait an hour, after we were told my the reception we had enough time. The 2nd guide was ok, but Julia was excellent.
