Florence: Accademia & Uffizi Galleries Guided Tour

We did Uffizi Gallery and Accademia tour. Both tours were great. Julia was our guide for Uffizi and she was so knowledgeable; we learned so much! It was a great experience. For Accademia we had Rosa as our guide, she was fun and witty and taught us a lot about Michelangelo. Highly recommended these tours!

Julia was incredible and narrated the entire tour. She described the stories of the art and the significance of how it all fit into the renaissance as a whole and described the historical significance of each piece.

Disappointing organization of the tour. Waited over an hour to enter the Uffizi museum with a “timed” ticket. Our guide lined up in the wrong area and in turn had to line up again in the group section. We had to meet a separate guide in a different meeting point for the second part of the tour. Incredibly disorganized tour.

Unser Guide Viktoria war sehr kompetent, hat uns die Geschichte Florenz, die Entwicklung der Renaissance in der Toskana anhand der Werke der wichtigen Künstler sehr anschaulich beschrieben. Der Vortrag war begeisternd, humorvoll und sehr profund.

Edoardo was very passionate and knowledgeable! He did a great job keeping the group together. We learned a lot and had a great time. Carmen did a good job as well. She spoke a little fast at times but, was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I thought our tour guide was efficient and so knowledgeable! I did so appreciate that we could skip the lines! I was also impressed with the fact that we could get close to the paintings but not feel totally surrounded by crowds.

The guide (Alessandra?) was very personable and knowledgeable. Her explantions and background stories provided good context for all that ee saw. I highly recommend her.
