Disappointing and poor value for money. We’ve done several food tours over the years, including Florence and Porto, and unfortunately this was by far the least enjoyable. There were only three guests ,one other person plus the two of us , so the social aspect was missing, and we wonder whether a minimum group size would be better. The food was pleasant but very limited: a small cake tasting, ham, cheese, one glass of wine, pasta and a gelato. We passed several lovely traditional gelato shops but were taken to a large ice-cream bar instead. For around £75pp, with no transport included, we expected considerably more. Previous tours included generous wine throughout; here we had to buy our own drinks. Our guide was lovely, but the tour lacked enthusiasm and depth of local knowledge. Overall, it didn’t deliver the quality or experience we expected for the price

We had a fantastic tour with Alessandra (Sandra)! It was a good mix of historical sites around Siena and delicious food. She added local color to the sites we were seeing and stories about the contradi. We were happy with the amount of food stops, and everything was tasty! We’ve even gone back to some of the places after the tour. Highly recommend!

We had such an amazing food tour today. Valentina was incredible, so warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire experience. We loved chatting with her and learning from her, and she brought so much care and personality to the tour. She was especially wonderful with the three children in our group, making sure they felt included and comfortable, which we really appreciated. She also took such great care with my gluten allergy, making the whole experience feel easy, safe, and enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour. It was such a special way to experience the city, the food, and the culture.

Jacopo was knowledgeable and helpful. We learnt so much about the history of Siena and a little about local food and wine. The food was all lovely, but not amazing. I felt that we could have found similar in any of the very many eateries in Siena without the need for a local expert. It was nice to be able to sit down to enjoy the appetisers and pasta, taking our time whilst chatting with Jacopo and the other tour guests. We stood in a corner of Pizza del Campo to sample some sweet products which was a less convivial vibe. Overall a lovely way to see the highlights of Siena.

Loved Jacopo, our guide. He taught us about Chianti and other local specialties. Also as we walked around Siena, he shared history and information about the biannual horse race between the districts. It was great. He answered questions and there was plenty of personal attention as well as great food. Meats, cheeses, pasta, Chianti, desserts…. All regional specialties.

The tour was brilliant. We covered a large part of the city and had four fascinating and tasty food and drink stops as well as historical and cultural stops. We paid for the extra drink and enjoyed the vin santo and wine with various courses. The guide Jacopo was a gentleman and had lots of information to share that added a rich dimension to a great evening. Thank you.
