Siena: Escursione Guidata di Mezza Giornata a Monteriggioni tra Vini e Castelli

Alessia was one of the best guides I’ve had anywhere in the world. She was personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our group enjoyed spending the morning with her and learning from her. The trail was peaceful and filled with unbeatable views of the Tuscan countryside. We also loved spending a little time at Monteriggioni at the end of the tour.

It was a relaxing peaceful hike through beautiful woods. Our guild Francesco was warm ,welcoming.and passionate regarding the environment we were walking through . His knowledge of botanicals and history was impressive . Beautiful scenery and Monteriggioni at the end was worth visiting and the wine tasting was a nice way to end the tour Would highly recommend this tour .

It has been a very pleasant walk and lighter than we thought, because despite the heat of July, we have had shade for much of the journey. The views along the trail are diverse and spectacular, it is certainly a perfect way to immerse yourself in Tuscany. Keko has been a friendly and very close guide, who has also adapted to us perfectly. A morning in which we talked about the history of the road, the nature of the environment and life itself. We could not be more grateful and it was certainly a very good decision to complete our visit to this region. Arriving in the beautiful Monteriggioni and having a wine tasting was the best ending. It was spectacular. Muchas gracias, Keko! Enara and Jon :)

The hike to Monterregioni was beautiful. The meeting point in Siena was easy to find and the transport to the starting point of the hike was perfectly organized. The driver was on time and totally friendly. Our guide during the hike was Allesia. She was really friendly, explained to us the nature and the habitats of the animals around Monterregioni, took pictures of us and was also great to talk to during the hike. She gave us a wonderful hiking experience. The wine tasting in Monterregioni was also perfectly organized and the wine was so delicious that we bought a bottle straight after the tasting. Monterregioni is definitely worth a visit. A truly beautiful pearl in Tuscany.
