Escursione sull'Etna da Catania con funivia e 4x4 fino a 3340 m

L’excursion guidée sur l’Etna est à ne pas rater ! Certains équipements de randonnée sont compris donc cool Par contre j’ai trouvé ca très cher tout de même. Lors de notre marche les guides se sont laissés surprendre par la météo et il y a eu 30min vraiment très dure avec beaucoup de vents, un grand froid, pas de visibilité et tout ça en marchant au bord du cratère (une personne a même fait un malaise). En bref ça vaut le coup ne manquer pas ça, les paysages sont splendides et les guides corrects mais soyez prêts, cela peut être sport !

Competent guide who made sure we had a good trip but also looking out for everyone's safety (we had clouds and vulcanic activities). I would have loved to spend more time on the Crater but there was vulcanic activity and a lady with health issues. Hike to the summit is beautiful, make sure you actually are in good shape, it's not your traditional hiking path. Transport was on time, just a little confusion because the cars are not marked and there were multiple pickups happening.

Super moment, à faire si vous venez sur Catane, une bonne condition physique est nécessaire et les conseils d’habillement prodigués pour l’activité sont à suivre également. Le clou du spectacle se trouve à 3340 mètres d’altitude, l’air y est plus rare, il fait plus froid et le temps change en un claquement de doigt. Mario notre guide a été au top ainsi que toute l’équipe, aux petits soins pour tous leurs clients, en Anglais et en Français ( ce qui est très rare en Sicile malgré ce qu’on peut lire ici ou là !) . Le volcan est magnifique et quand on est proches des cratères on peut mesurer la puissance, quelques explosions quelques petits cailloux et beaucoup de cendres, mais c’est à voir ! Mario et les guides n’ont eu de cesse d’assurer la sécurité des groupes présents, la météo était changeante, l’humeur du volcan aussi, donc à plusieurs fois nous avons changé d’itinéraire dans un seul but : notre sécurité. Bravo à tous et merci pour cette belle journée.

A fantastic experience on My Etna.We were lost in Catania for our pickup point but Pietro patiently helped us over the telephone. It was lovely and cool compared to the coast. We traversed the north side as the south wasn’t stable. Clothing and boots provided was excellent. Overall a well planned tour. Would highly recommend but you must be fit for trekking.

We had a great experience trekking Mount Etna. The views and volcanic landscape were incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. Daniele was an excellent guide, very friendly, knowledgeable and easygoing. He made the trek fun and enjoyable from start to finish. Our driver to tour was also great. A great experience with a great team. Highly recommended!

We had a really great day on Mt. Etna and would definitely recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip and absolutely worth the money. The driver messaged us via WhatsApp beforehand, which made communication about the pickup very easy, and he arrived on time at Catania Centrale and was very friendly. The tour itself was well organized and the guides were very knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed the explanations from the geologist, who shared many interesting facts about Mt. Etna. Safety was taken seriously, and the provided hiking boots, helmets, jackets and trekking poles were all in good condition. Definitely take the poles, as they made parts of the ascent easier. The views were incredible and the route included many scenic spots. We are moderately experienced hikers and found the tour very manageable overall. What makes it a bit more challenging is mainly the loose volcanic ash and sand, as it can be quite difficult to get a good foothold during the ascent.

Na začátek řeknu, že to stojí za to a všem doporučuji se na exkurzi přihlásit. Nicméně, nás trochu překvapila náročnost výstupu, která v instrukcích není správně vystižena. Výstup byl mnohem náročnější než jsme čekali a to hlavně kvůli náročnému terénu. Nakonec ale výšlap na vrchol zvládli všichni z naší skupina, která byla věkově rozmanitá, a proto si myslím, že se není potřeba vyšlapu se bát, jen s ním počítat.
