Lezione di pasta e tiramisù in casa di un cuoco materano

Big thank you to Filomena and her daughter for a fantastic evening. The cookery class was amazing and we got to learn new skills and tasted foods we had not tried before. We made two types of pasta, tiramisu and bruschetta. Then had the pleasure of eating these with Filomena and her daughter (who was a very good translator- thank you so much!) I would recommend this experience to anyone regardless of any culinary talent as Filomena was very generous with her time and talent to help us create wonderful vegetarian food. I’m looking forward to creating these dishes when I get home. Thank you so much , this is definitely a highlight of our holiday

We absolutely loved our cooking class with Filomena! During the lesson, we prepared spinach ravioli, fresh tagliatelle, and a delicious tiramisu. It might sound a bit bold, but it was honestly the best food we had during our entire stay in Italy. Filomena and her family were incredibly hospitable. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations of what a cooking lesson would look like – we felt more like family members than just students. Please note that the class doesn't take place in Matera, but in Montescaglioso – a charming small town about 20 km away. It is definitely worth the trip, and I recommend asking Filomena about a pickup if you don't have a car. Highly recommended!
