Firenze e Pisa: Due Tesori in un Giorno - Tour Guidato da Livorno

Amazing. Mauriccio took us from the meeting point straight to the best sited of Florence all while providing interesting points of history along the way. The conversation flowed effortlessly as if between that of lifelong friends. Recommendations were spot on and when my son wanted an authentic jersey Mauriccio let us literally by the hand to an authentic team shop to buy one. The day concluded with a great stop in Pisa and being brought back safely to the meeting point once more. I would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend.

Kurz gesagt eine Katastrophe!! Da weitere Gäste nicht kamen standen wir 20 Minuten und warteten mit der Abfahrt. Plötzlich überfiel den Fahrer dann eine Krankheit, die es seiner Meinung nach unmöglich machte die Klimaanlage des Fahrzeugs einzuschalten. Wir hatten also die Wahl ohne Klimaanlage, im schwarzen Bus, bei 35 Grad, mit einem kranken Fahrer stundenlang unterwegs zu sein oder abzubrechen. „ Ein Schelm der Böses dabei denkt“ Nach langer Diskussion mittels Google Übersetzer und einschalten der AC ging es dann los. Der zugesicherte Reiseleiter war nicht vor Ort, der Fahrer sprach nur italienisch kein Englisch, Französisch oder sonst eine Sprache. Also Google Übersetzer. und eigene Reiseführung mittels Internet. Ein totaler Reinfall also weil zugesicherte Inhalte nicht vorhanden waren. PS: Das beste Eis gab es übrigens auch nicht😀 We

Versprochen wurde: "Unser fachkundiger Tourleiter wird Sie in die Geschichte und Kultur der Region einführen. Gönnen Sie sich ein köstliches Eis von einem der besten Eishersteller von Florenz – alles kostenlos und in Ihrem Tourticket inbegriffen! Halten Sie im Herzen der Stadt und lassen Sie sich auf der Piazza del Duomo von Meisterwerken der Technik und Architektur den Atem rauben, während Ihr offizieller italienischer Tourguide interessante Geschichten und Fakten erzählt." Mit der Realität hat das aber leider nichts zu tun. Es gab EINEN netten Taxifahrer, der insgesamt 4 Personen im Minivan an 3 Punkten absetzte (Piazza Michelangelo oberhalb von Florenz mit Panoramablick, ein Platz nahe vom Dom in Florenz, ein Platz in der Nähe vom schiefen Turm in Pisa) und dort zu einer festgelegten Zeit wieder abholte. Kein Tourleiter und auch keinerlei Infos zu den besuchten Orten. Die Wegstrecke zu den Attraktionen durfte man sich selbst suchen. Eis gab`s nicht. So stelle ich mir das nicht vor.

We had a fantastic day with our driver and guide Gabrielle who picked us up at the cruise terminal. He made sure we were all comfortable throughout the journey and gave us lots of information on the road. Giacomo was our city guide in Florence who walked us through the main attractions. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the how friendly and helpful both of our guides were. Definitely recommend the tour as we managed to see Florence and Pisa in one day and were well looked after.

I had an incredible semi-private trip to Florence and Pisa. I traveled solo and was in the van with a lovely family of five. I appreciated the offering of a pit stop on the initial drive into Florence even if we didn’t need it. The outlook on the hill over Florence was stunning. Our guide in Florence was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I would absolutely go on this trip again!

Meeting place was very confusing!!! Address not same as in email. Our guide was very friendly, but traveling at excessive speed & very erratic. He was extremely tired & could not sit still behind steering wheel!!! He was very agitated. We could see in rear view mirror how he could not keep his eyes open. He was swerving accross road a couple of times. Cars were hooting at us. We felt incredibly unsafe!!!!!

Our guide was knowledgeable and informative, but the whole tour was very rushed because four of the participants went to the wrong meeting place and the drivers were arguing for 50 minutes about how long to wait. They finally were able to talk to the other participants and decided to go pick them up at the place they incorrectly went to delaying the start of our tour almost an hour. We also got back to the ship 30 minutes before the scheduled time which would’ve been fine, except we were already shorted almost an hour at the beginning of it. I actually feel like we are deserving of a partial refund of this tour. The driver did arrange to get us directly back to our ship versus having to take a shuttle, which was nice and I appreciate that
