Da Sorrento: Gita Giornaliera a Capri, Anacapri e Grotta Azzurra

This full-day tour of Capri was excellent, and went far above and beyond expectations! It was a perfect day with weather and timing. We were able to enter the Blue Grotto, go up the Monte Solaro chairlift, get drinks up top, have lunch in Anapcapri, then a visit to Capri town and its high end shops, and finally as a bonus because there was time to spare, a boat tour to the iconic Faraglioni rocks and other sites by sea. Our tour guide Luigi was great, very friendly and enthusiastic. He kept the tour on time and got us to the various locations ahead of all the crowds so we had no lines at all. He knew everyone on the island and shared some the history of the island as we moved along by private bus amongst the various locations. I highly recommend this activity provider - Cioffi Tours, and especially Luigi as a tour guide. Ask to be a part of his "Family" when booking this day trip!

We had a great experience visiting Capri. Luigi was brilliant and even managed to get us to the front of the chairlift queue, which was hours long by the time we came back down! Our group was split into two, each with a different guide. Unfortunately, a member of our group got into quite a heated argument with the other tour guide regarding the Blue Grotto being closed, which was a little uncomfortable for everyone. As the Blue Grotto was shut, we were taken on a boat trip instead, which we really enjoyed. Of course, the closure was completely out of the guides’ control, and we appreciated having an alternative experience arranged for us. Overall, we had a great day exploring Capri and really enjoyed the experience!

What a fabulous day it was! Charming Luigi entertained us with his humorous stories and did his absolute best to get us everywhere on time and help us beat the queues on this island of unparalleled beauty. The Blue Grotto, as often happens, was closed that day due to dangerously high water levels, but what we were offered instead was also amazing: a trip around Capri, where we could admire the breathtaking views while laughing at the funny comments of our lovely guide, Raffaella.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day because our guide, Luigi made it a spectacular experience! One of our party was disabled and wished we had known about stairs down to blue grotto as she wanted to skip this portion but was not given the opportunity to discuss ahead. But Luigi did everything right and made our day a memory to cherish and remember.

If I could give this a 15 out of 10 review, I would! In a word, it was, incredible! Our guide, Luigi, was the absolute best. Funny, knowledgeable and punctual, he makes the day even more enjoyable. His connections with everyone on the island got us many advantages, like skipping the chair lift line, skipping the bus lines, access to private boat tour around island (added fee). We were fortunate that the blue grotto was open for our visit and that was a unique and memorable experience. Be warned, though, that there is a lot of motion on this tour. If you are prone to motion sickness, pre treat yourself prior . The ferry, bus ride up the switch back roads, bobbing in a row boat to get into the blue grotto, chair lift up the mountain, and then more boat and ferry rides. Aside from the risk of motion sickness, I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Meet at Marina and guide was Luigi who was knowledgable and entertaining. Was lucky to be able to go to blue grotto then went to AnaCapri. Was able to skip the queue at the chair lift with pre booked tickets saving time. Had food in AnaCapri and then drive back to Capri. For extra cost we had a boat ride around the island. Was a long enjoyable day and would recommend.
