Tour Privato di un Giorno da Firenze: Cinque Terre e Pisa con Pranzo

Mario was an amazing tour guide and was very accommodating for our group of four, he was friendly and very informative. The van was spacious and air conditioned, very comfortable and having our own private tour made the whole day easy and enjoyable. We got to see almost everything despite a sudden unexpected train strike that happened during our visit. Mario was able to navigate around the issue and we finished off a wonderful day in Pisa with the leaning tower. This is definitely the best way to do this tour. The quality of service and the excursion was worth the price and my group really loved the whole experience.

This entire excursion blew me away! Our family loved it and Andrea was the best guide ever. He was so kind, professional, and a great driver. This exceeded our expectations and it was worth every penny. By far one of the best things we did while in Italy! Some tips if you go, bring sunscreen, snacks and water, and single Euros in case you need to use the bathroom anywhere other than a restaurant where you eat. You’ll love this.

We had a wonderful day trip to Cinque Terre and Pisa with Mr. Maurizio. He arrived on time, was friendly and engaging, and made the journey enjoyable with great conversation about Italian life, culture, politics and more. The tour was very well organized, including visits to Manarola and Vernazza, with interesting historical insights along the way. He also arranged lunch, photo stops, and breaks seamlessly. We met our guide in Pisa. The guide rushed us from the Tower of Pisa without asking if we wanted to climb the steps. Apparently, he did not like Pisa. We literally drove 1.5 hours each way the next day so that we could actually climb the steps of the tower. Our last stop was at Lucca where we continued to stay even though we had made it clear that we were ready to return to Pisa. During our time at Lucca the guide chose to have an extended phone conversation instead of giving us his full attention. His command of the English language was marginal. I would not recommend him as a guide.

Mario was truly an exceptional guide. Not only was he a fantastic driver and a fun companion, but he really make the experience first class. If I sneezed, he handed me a pack of tissues. If I yawned, he offered me a Coke. He gave my wife and I a small bag of candy with a key chain and his business card so that we could reach him if we got separated and lost. Mario knew his way around and suggested an outstanding restaurant for lunch. He even gave s a couple of Euros to use for public toilets. He really couldn't have been much more accommodating. We've used about a dozen tour guides on this trip to Italy and I think our tour with Mario was the only all-day trip we took with a private driver. I'm not sure how much we paid for this tour, but whatever it was, Mario made it worth it!
