Tour VIP della Basilica di San Pietro: Cupola, Tomba e Scavi sotterranei

Sabrina was a wonderful guide! She took us on a walk through St. Peter’s Square before our Scavi Tour, and it was the perfect way to begin our visit. She was incredibly enthusiastic, engaging, and very knowledgeable about St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican, and its history. Her passion really came through as she shared the stories and significance of what we were seeing. Sabrina made the experience both interesting and enjoyable, and we felt much better prepared to appreciate our Scavi Tour afterward. We would highly recommend her to anyone visiting the Vatican!

Our guide was early and had everything organized and ready to go when we arrived. She was extremely knowledgeable, energetic, and clearly passionate about sharing the history and significance of St. Peter’s Basilica with us. She knew exactly how to navigate the crowds and lines, moving us efficiently through the different areas while still taking the time to explain what we were seeing and answer our questions. Her knowledge and enthusiasm added so much to the experience. We especially appreciated the personal attention she provided throughout the tour. Even when it was time for the dome portion, she walked us all the way to the elevator and made sure everything was squared away before leaving us. Excellent experience from beginning to end. We learned a great deal and would definitely recommend this tour!

Terrible! The guide kept us standing in the sun in St Peter’s square for over an hour. We again waited in the heat To go into the entrance to the underground burial chamber. This is all before we would have been able to enter the Basilica. We had to leave the tour before the tour of the Basilica because my husband was overheated and ill due to the lengthy exposure to the sun & heat. With temperatures in the mid-90’s where is the common sense in this??????? Terrible experience!!!!!!

Sabrina was great. however then I was handed over to agency staff member who left us in the sun at the entrance to Scavi saying your guide will be here soon. 20 minutes later they arrived. then people from previous time slot who missed their tour were added to our group making the group too large for the heat and enclosed spaces. some participants had strong perfume on or body odour as I was dry wretching at times.
