Superly organized! A very friendly, knowledgeable tour guide! Everything went off without a hitch! It was a great idea to visit Pompeii from Rome.

Pompeii is HUGE. Went solo, and honestly got lost like twice but that kinda made it better? Took forever to get through the line at the entrance but after that it was smooth. The guide (think her name was Giulia?) was super chill and gave some fun facts about the brothel (lol). Bring a hat, trust me. Half my pics are just me squinting.

This trip was exactly what my partner and I were hoping for. Chill pace, no one rushing us, just time to wander and take it all in. The mosaics are INSANE! Our guide, Marco, helped us skip the ticket line which was a lifesaver. Would recommend comfy shoes and extra water—those old stones are murder on your feet.

It was okay, a bit too busy for my taste (went on a Saturday, ugh). We couldn’t hear the guide half the time, might’ve been our spot in the group. Pompeii itself is fascinating tho! If you’re not big on crowds, maybe try a weekday.

Went with my mom and little brother—total history nerds, all of us. The guide Gennaro was EPIC, knew all the weird stories about daily life. Got to see the Villa of the Mysteries and honestly that was the highlight. Pack snacks, the food inside is $$$ and not great.

Pompeii is wild. Didn’t realize how big it’d be. Our guide, pretty sure her name was Carla, made sure we didn’t miss the best stuff but let us loose to explore on our own too. The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot. Some spots get crowded, esp. by the forum, but you find quiet corners. Bring water, they’re strict about no drinks sold inside.

I went with my boyfriend and we had the best time. Train was easy, bus was kinda packed but fast. Our guide (shoutout to Paolo!) was friendly and had good tips about where to start. You can’t take pics inside the brothel, which is a bummer, but the frescos are burned into my memory anyway.

Really fun day trip! I liked that the guide gave us the basics and then let us do our own thing. Would’ve liked a bit more info about where to get audio guides, but we figured it out eventually. Definitely bring sunscreen, even in November.

Me and my girlfriend did this tour as a break from all the museums in Rome. Best decision!! The ruins are MASSIVE and you get a real sense of what life was like. Our guide was hilarious and kept us entertained on the train ride. Glad we didn’t have to worry about tickets or lines.

Just wow. We had so much time to walk around on our own, didn’t feel rushed at all. Went with two friends and we each found a different fave spot. The baths are super coooool (ha). It’s a lot of walking, so maybe not best for small kids.

Went with my parents—super easy transport, no stress. The site is pretty overwhelming and signs aren’t always great, so planning ahead helps. We ate lunch at a place right outside with a shaded patio, which saved us. Pompeii is a must-see, but pace yourself.

Our guide, Sara, was SO knowledgeable and patient with all our silly questions. We loved the freedom to explore after the intro tour. Saw the amphitheater and some wild mosaics. Bring your own snacks unless you want to pay tourist prices.

Perfect for my family (2 adults, 2 teens). The guide was friendly and made sure everyone got to the site okay. We spent about 5 hours wandering, barely scratched the surface. It’s a long day but totally worth it.

Went with friends, had a great time. The transfer from Rome was smooth except for a small train delay (not the tour’s fault). Would’ve been nice to have a clearer map, but we managed. The ruins are incredible—so much to see!

Honestly loved every bit! Our guide was super funny and had great stories. The villa of the mysteries is a MUST. Wear sneakers, trust me, the roads are bumpy and kinda slippery in spots. Still, it was one of the best days of our trip.

Visited with my husband and daughter—such a cool way to learn about history. Our guide was patient and waited for us when my daughter stopped for a million photos. Loved it!

Trip was well organized and guide Luca kept things lively. Wish the weather had been cooler, but can’t control that. Got to see so much more than I expected. Only downside was the crowds in the main forum.

Pompeii is cool but you need to be prepped. We didn’t bring enough water and there’s not much shade, so by hour 3 we were roasting. Guide was nice but hard to hear in the big group. Still worth it but could be better organized.
