Lake Como: Rent a Boat Without a License — Swim, Picnic and Explore

The guide was extremely helpful and communicative. I rarely trust these websites but he effectively communicated the instructions and make us feel comfortable. The experience was absolutely amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 10/10 id definitely book again! We also booked last minute and he was super accommodating and able to add an extra hour.

This experience was great! Pier was a perfect instructor in telling you how to work the boat, very friendly person, and the views on the lake are unreal! Only thing I’d mention - even though completely out of Pier’s hands - is the Bluetooth sadly didn’t work due to the heat, it would’ve been nicer to know this ahead of time so we could’ve organised a speaker but once again this is no fault of pier and it did not take away from the experience. 10/10

We hired this boat for two hours and when we met Pier he was very friendly and explained all of the instructions on how to use the boat and the rules to abide by. We then had the boat to ourselves for two hours, which was very nice to enjoy the lake personally. The only downside was that the Bluetooth speaker included was not working which we were looking forward to. Apart from this, the overall experience was very good and I would definitely recommend!

We rented the boat for 2 hours and went on our own little adventure around Como! The boat has a Bluetooth speaker, so you can enjoy your own music while cruising around or stop for a swim in the beautiful water. In 2 hours you get to go until Villa Pliniana - Torno, swim a little and have time to get back to Como. Everything went super smoothly, and our guide was incredibly kind and helpful, making the whole experience even better. 💙 Honestly, I’d recommend booking it for longer if you can — 2 hours goes by so quickly when you’re having this much fun!

We had an absolutely brilliant experience and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. It was an extremely busy, sunny Saturday on the lake, but everything was made incredibly easy for us from the moment we arrived. The briefing was clear, relaxed and really easy to understand. Within a few minutes, we genuinely felt confident enough to take the boat out ourselves, which says a lot about how well everything was explained. We were underway quickly and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. The experience itself was amazing and easily one of the highlights of our trip. The only regret was not booking for longer — by the end, we were wishing we had another hour or two on the water. A huge thank you to our instructor for making the whole thing so straightforward and enjoyable. We’d absolutely do it again.
