Lake Como 2-Hour Self-Drive Boat Rental

Boot war gut aber schwer, der 40PS Motor ist da schon ziemlich an Anschlag. Der Preis ist nicht Ok, im Süden Italiens kann man für den gleichen Preis ein RIB / Zodiac mieten für 4-6 std. 200€ dann noch 50€ extra für Benzin ist zu viel! 2 std. ist vom Erlebnis her besser, man kann etwas weiter entlang der Wunderschönen Comer Küsten fahren und sich noch ein Bad gönnen. Bei 1 std. kommt man nicht weit. Meinen Kids und mir hat der Ausflug gefallen, aber wie erwähnt 70-80€ weniger und es wäre ein Top Angebot.

REALLY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY. Booked the boat for 1pm arrived 10 minutes early as advised they had trouble with boat so got going at 1.25pm. 30 minutes into the trip the engine of the boat began to stutter and an alarm sounded showing warning lights for engine. Slowed the boat down and waited this seemed to resolve it but the same thing happened again. Contacted the boat company who advised we shut the engine off for 5 minutes then restart which we did twice but the same problem occurred. We were left bobbing up and down in the middle of Lake Como feeling vulnerable from other passing boats and in 30 degree heat with one of our party feeling very unwell before a team member came who could not help us and advised we take the boat back to the jetty slowly. It took us an hour to get back, not a trip we had planned! We paid £220 plus £50 fuel. We contacted customer services who have given us £110 refund and feel this is appropriate!!!!
