Siena, San Gimignano & Chianti: Day Trip from Florence

This was such an amazing addition to our trip to Florence. Our driver Aladdin was the best! He was very thoughtful, and detailed orientated ( I had not added the lunch and he suggested we do so and took care of it before we got in the car, thank goodness he did because it was fully booked by the time we arrived after Sienna and we were hungry) he was also super fun. Sienna and San Gimignano were incredible. The only draw back was the guide in Sienna who could not really speak English and was not very engaging. I would highly recommend this day trip!

We had a wonderful day trip. Our driver Simone was very kind and recommended a wonderful winery, Tenuta Torciano Winery - San Gimignano. We were able to do a tasting and have a great lunch. The tour of Siena was wonderful and San Gimignano was breathtaking. My only complaint would be not having enough time in Siena or San Gimignano, although this is not the fault of the tour. We knew we had limited time. So if you are wanting to spend more time in either of these places you should look at something else. For us it worked out well because we had limited time in Florence.
