Medici Dynasty History Museum Ticket at Rotonda Brunelleschi

We love the Medici Museum. It was a very interesting and informative look into the past and of the timeline of the Medici family. I was surprised by how few people were at this museum since it is such an important part of the history of Florence. The convent that is also part of the museum was also beautiful and such a hidden gem that more people should experience.

Wir hatten einen turbulenten Urlaub, mit einer Anreise mit Hindernissen! Es ist nichts so gelaufen wie geplant und somit unsere Tage in Florenz auch nicht! Mein Sohn (19) wollte eigentlich in die Uffizien, hatte aber die ganze Zeit von dem Museum der Medici erzählt! Also, habe ich Karten für dieses Museum gebucht! Die Enttäuschung war zunächst groß als er feststellte, dass es nicht das Museum ist, indem er 1 Jahr zuvor auf Stufenfahrt von der Abi-Klasse war! Wenig enthusiastisch betraten meine Söhne das Museum! Meinjüngerer Sohn ist Autist und wie ich sehr geschichtsinteressiert! Es war wahnsinnig interessant! Wir haben soviel entdeckt und erfahren! Der Besuch ist es wert! Aufmerksam schauen und sich Zeit lassen! Es lohnt sich

I visited the Museo de’ Medici in Florence, in the Rotonda of Brunelleschi, and I have to say it was really cool! The museum is structured into different rooms, making it super easy to follow the history of the Medici dynasty. Everything is really well explained, and the exhibits are beautifully curated. What makes the experience even better is that there’s a guide available, so you can ask any questions and get even more insights. One of the things that stood out the most for me was the room dedicated to the Elettrice Palatina, really fascinating and unique. Overall, I totally recommend it, especially if you’re into history!

Bellissima scoperta! Museo di storia interessantissimo, che permette, anche attraverso rarità, di fare finalmente chiarezza sulla dinastia che ha reso la Toscana famosa nel mondo. Unico nel suo genere; direi propedeutico per capire la bellezza di Firenze e le sue collezioni d’arte. Apprezzatissima anche la mostra temporanea con volumi antichi su Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici.
