We did the Pompeii & Herculaneum with Archaeologist Guide tour in Naples and it was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide was an exceptional archaeologist who brought both sites to life with his deep knowledge and passion. He shared so many fascinating details about the daily life, culture, and history of Pompeii and Herculaneum that we felt fully immersed in the ancient world. He even mentioned that he would be visiting Athens this month, which made the experience feel even more personal and engaging. Even though I can’t remember the name of the tour agent, the experience itself was unforgettable. The tour was incredibly well-organized, informative, and engaging from start to finish. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Naples — this is truly one of the best ways to explore these extraordinary archaeological sites!

we had an amazing day. our guide, was knowledgeable and made the visit very interesting. we did this trip in low season so no huge crowds to deal with and the weather was perfect. both sites had so much to learn about , would highly recommend this trip.

The guide Rafael was amazing! His fun sense of humor and reasonable pace was just what we needed to make the day a success! The day was long and the right footware are a must! The restoran in Pompei was a little overpriced, although the food was good. The only negative thing was that when I arrived at the meeting point, it turned out that the destinations were the other way around (first Pompei and then Heracleunum) and the times in this schedule did not apply. That was not a problem for us, but it also turned out that there was no stop in the Maximall nor an exclusive branded welcome kit and discount card for Maximall Pompeii giving access to special offers that was promised. Looking back, it might have been better that this was not included, but still would have been nice to have a heads up for these changes. I imagine, that if the tour guide had not been as amazing as Rafael was, we might have had a more negative experience.
