Sorrento, Positano & Amalfi Tour with Optional Boat Ride

Full review on Tripadvisor. Overall excellent day. Comfortable coach; excellent guide with great insights & anecdotes. It was very hot & A/c in the van needed to be on super-max to cope!! Due to a late change we couldn’t do Sorrento, but it was replaced with Ravelo, another stunning stop on the Amalfi coast. We also did the optional boat tour, which wasn’t long but gives a great view back at the coastline.

What an incredible day! Our tour of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi exceeded every expectation, and that was all thanks to our amazing driver, Domenico. Domenico was exceptional from start to finish, friendly, professional, incredibly informative and genuinely passionate about the region. He shared fascinating local knowledge throughout the day and gave us fantastic recommendations at every stop, from the best viewpoints to hidden gems we never would have found ourselves. His lunch recommendation was absolutely spot on and ended up being one of the best meals of our trip. Every stop was picture perfect, and Domenico knew exactly where to take us for the most breathtaking views and photo opportunities. We came away with incredible memories and some amazing photos and videos to remember the day. The entire tour was well organised, relaxed and enjoyable, and we always felt we were in great hands. This was easily one of the highlights of our holiday!

Di Sarno Car Service is the activity provider. David was our tour guide and he’s such a gentleman. He took 8 of us to Positano, Sorrento, and Amalfi Coast giving us about one hour and 15 min at each location which was reasonable given the fact that each location has much of the same thing: restaurants and shopping. I booked this tour for the optional boat ride and I told David this at the beginning of the tour. Even though we left on time (at 8am), somehow we missed the boat ride at 1:45pm (arriving in Amalfi Coast at 2:00) so we couldn’t do the boat ride. We left Amalfi coast at 3:15 and got back to the ship at 4:40. The tour involves free time at each location to do your own thing but be prepared to do alot of walking and steps which is something to consider when you’re mobility impaired or have other health issues that might be compromised by physical exertion and heat exhaustion. I would like a refund of $30 since we missed the boat ride at the Amalfi Coast.
