From Sorrento: Pompeii Guided Tour with Skip-the-Line Entry

Carmen was 5he best driver. came out of his way to pick us up. we were his only passengers. we had time to stop at the lemonchello factory and buy plenty of basalmic vinegar and olive oil. the absolute best ever. our guide Angelo is an expert on volcanoes and gave us a lot of information and schooled us from truth and what Hollywood has made wrong. Angelo modified our tour to show us the absolute best of Pompeii. you need more than 1 day to visit. we made the best of a 5 hour tour and felt we got a great deal and learned so much facts. thank you Angelo and Carmen for a wonderful experience

The pickup at our hotel was easy and on time — Angelo was great. Our guide in Pompeii, Sasa, did a great job showing us as much as we could in the time we had. We had our kids (8 & 10) with us and it was HOT, but he did a nice job finding shade as much as possible. Transportation back to Sorrento was just as efficient. Very happy with the transportation and guide. Ultimately, we wished we had more time in Pompeii. There’s just so much to see. With travel time, the 5 hour tour was less than 2.5 hours of actual time in Pompeii. We hadn’t factored that in and thought “5 hours” would be more than enough time in Pompeii. Our fault! Even our kids would have liked more time.

Had a great tour with Sasa at Pompeii. Our guide, Sasa, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and great stories and interesting facts to keep our small group engaged. He made sure we saw new areas recently opened up and took us to see the artifacts. Transport was seamless! Our driver Yuri met us at our hotel, and had lots of great information to share along the route. The logistics were smooth so we could enjoy the day!

Frankie is an exceptional guide! We learned so much history and his delivery of the information is so entertaining that our 12 year old grandson stayed totally engaged! Fascinating depiction of ancient Pompeii brought it all to life for us in a way we were not expecting and made it much more than just another tour.
