Wine Tour Sardinia: Winery Visit and Tasting near Cagliari

Interessante und persönliche Aktion mit viel Spaß! Wir waren zunächst aufgrund der wenigen Bewertungen skeptisch. Es war letztendlich jedoch jeden Cent wert! Direkt nach der Buchung wurden wir persönlich freundlich kontaktiert um den Abholort und die Zeit abzumachen. Am nächsten Tag würden wir direkt an unserem Hotel abgeholt und sind zu dem Weingut in Soleminis gefahren. Dort hat uns der Winzer selbst eine Führung über sein Land geboten und alles ausführlich und interessant erklärt. Im Anschluss daran ging es in seine Verarbeitungsräume wo dargestellt wurde wie genau die Traube zum Wein in den Flaschen wird. Daraufhin wurde in der geselligen Runde (insgesamt waren wir 6: wir zwei, ein weiteres Päärchen, der Winzer und der Fahrer) der Wein sowie Grappa und Likör verkostet und aufgezeigt wie man die einzelnen Komponenten herausschmeckte. Im Anschluss würden wir auf unseren Wunsch in die Altstadt von Cagliari gebracht. Rundum tolles Erlebnis und sehr zu empfehlen!

Valerio was a great tour guide who picked us up from our accommodation and drove us to the vineyard, stopping en route to look at the flamingos in the salt lake! Enjoyed a very informative tour of the vineyard and farm before sitting down to taste some beautiful wine accompanied by an antipasto platter. Valerio looked after us well, even giving us tips on other things to do in Sardinia and helpful restaurant recommendations :)

Valerio is more than a tour guide. He is an amazing Sardinian who welcomes you to his homeland and invites you, guides you to experience what does life mean for the people of this great island. Although we visited wineries in many places before, none of them was so memorable and enjoyable as the one organised by Valerio. We felt honoured to have had the chance to meet Giuseppe, a talented wine maker, who showed us around his cellar and allowed us to get a glimpse into his life and taste the lovely wines he is making. If you want to have a tour while in Sardinia, be sure you choose Valerio as your guide!

I highly recommend this event. We were picked up in Cagliari at the meeting point, there was a short transportation to the vineyard. The vineyard lies on a beautiful hill with a fantastic view over the Sardinian landscape. The owner showed us the different grape yards and explained the process of making wine. After the tour we went back to the winery to taste. We were offered a variety of Sardinian specialities to taste with the wine ,the tasting was very good.
