Erice & Marsala Salt Pans Tour from Palermo with Lunch & Tasting

It was wonderful to see the region and a good change-up from earlier time spent in Palermo & Cefalu. From picturesque coastal villages to 2000ft rock mountains, panoramic views, vineyards, salt pans, olive groves, orchards, it gave insight to Sicilys trading wealth and history. Lunch with local produce and wines was the perfect finish. Renato was knowledgable and friendly and good fun.

En fantastisk tur, der helt klart er værd at opleve! Salvatore, vores guide, var ualmindelig rar, og guidet os godt igennem alt. Erice var sådan et smuk og betagende sted, og udsigten var endnu smukkere. Marsala Salt Pans var fantastisk, med en masse flamingoer! Frokosten på gården var virkelig simpel og lækker, med god vin. Vi fik efterfølgende fortalt hvordan hele fungeret, og alt i alt, var det en vellykket oplevelse.

Salvatore was an excellent guide. Polite funny and very informative about all the places we travelled on the trip. The transport was clean and comfortable and air-conditioned. We saw Erice before the crowds decended for the day. The tour of the winery was lovely and the lunch they served with tastings was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely amazing day with Renato! He was friendly, and knowledgeable. From the medieval town of Erice to the salt pans of Marsala and the incredible winery tour and lunch, every part of the day exceeded our expectations. Everything was planned perfectly, and Renato’s knowledge and personality made the experience truly memorable. We highly recommend this tour!

It was amazing. We loved Erice, we think it is a must see if you are visiting Palermo, salt pans were a nice visit, and the lunch and tasting were just perfect. We tasted homemade olives, aperatives, pasta with trapani pesto, and tried 3 different wines. Renato, our guide, was really knowledgable and showed us many sights along the road and told us about them while on the road. All in all, it was a great experience.

He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely made the entire day enjoyable. He was attentive to everyone in the group, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. The scenery, wine tasting at Donna Franca, salt flats, and overall experience were beautiful, but having such a fantastic guide truly made the day unforgettable. We had an amazing day with Ricardo! We were a couple on this tour and had a lovely small group, which allowed our tour guide to be very attentive. It was a wonderful day! The highlight for us was the views along the way, town of Erice and of course the wine tour. Such a fantastic day. Relaxing and engaging all at the same time. Would recommend this.
