Florence: Family Pizza & Gelato Cooking Class - Authentic Italian Flavors

It was quite disappointing, unfortunately. A lot of the actual cooking was done by the guides. For the gelato, for example, we essentially watched the guide mix ingredients together. We cut peaches to make sorbet, but that was the extent of our involvement. Similarly, we cut tomatoes for the pizza sauce, but did none of the actual cooking. The knives were also horribly blunt and chipped, which is unacceptable. We did roll our pizza dough ourselves, but when our guide saw we hadn't finished fast enough (due to us being the last to actually get our dough back from the guide who had put it in the fridge), they just rolled it out themselves. At the end we got to scan a QR code to get the recipes, but I don't feel that we actually learned how to do the techniques independelty. Furthermore, the experience is listed as taking 4 hours and we were done with both the cooking and eating in less than 2.5. Many other courses are more instructional, better run, and cheaper. Go to those instead.
