Tuscany Vespa Tour: Medieval Villages, Winery Lunch & Gelato

Osvaldo et Lorenzo ont étés super : la qualité des explications et leur compagnie ont contribué à la réussite de cette activité qui a été le clou de notre séjour en toscane. On a fait l'excursion avec nos enfants de 11 et 12ans et il n'y avait que des arrangements : ils ont adoré ! Peut être même plus que nous. Ajoutez la qualité du repas avec des pâtes faites maison et la dégustation de vin au top !

Our trip today was very enjoyable. We were lucky to end up with a private tour with Stefano and Marco for my son and I. We rode as passengers behind the two and they were both very skilled at driving Vespas. They were very kind and thoughtful, and helped us take a lot of beautiful photos of us and the scenery. The tour was very well organized, giving us time to explore St Gimignano and enjoy a wonderful lunch. We had an amazing time and highly recommend everyone try it.

It was a wonderful day in the Chianti region. We were given amble time to learn to ride the Vespas and then we were off on a great afternoon ride to San Gimignano. The group of men (and 1 woman) were so encouraging and great fun. I would highly recommend this outing. The kids rode in the back of tuk tuk so there were no worries about them. They made great accommodations for my niece (who is gluten-free) and the lunch and wine was delicious. They even had a special bottle of bubbles for my sister and I to celebrate our 50th birthdays. 5 stars PLUS!

Overall, I really enjoyed this tour! The ride there was comfortable with AC, although the music was quite loud in the back. Realistically, less than 10 minutes of practice isn’t enough for a beginner to safely learn to ride a Vespa on public roads, so I understand why I became a passenger. My driver was excellent! The cool wind felt amazing, and the scenery was incredible—I honestly didn’t know where to look because there was so much to see. I only regret that I wasn’t comfortable enough to record videos because I was too busy holding on for dear life! I enjoyed the medieval town, gelato, shopping, and gorgeous Tuscan views, but wish we had more than 1 hour and 15 minutes to explore. The winery was lovely, and the thick spaghetti-like pasta with meat sauce was amazing—I had two bowls! The guides were friendly, informative, and spoke excellent English. My advice: learn to ride beforehand or book as a passenger so you have a backup plan. A wonderful and memorable experience!

The trip was excellent, our family agreed this was one of the best trips that we have ever done. Cecilia (Chincilla 😂) was brilliant, great fun, extremely knowledgeable and keen to make us all happy. The Vespas were a wonderful way to explore Tuscany, what a beautiful place in the world. What was great was the small group and also the transportation from busy Florence into the hills to pick up the Vespas. Lunch was really lovely as well and the wine was plentiful 😁 Overall we would highly recommend this trip.

This was our favorite tour experience during our whole time traveling through Italy! We were met by Bijon in Florence who we credit to making the entire experience exceptional. He safely transported us to Tuscany while pointing out and informing us of sites of interest along the way and provided history of the area in a pleasant and engaging manner. We were patiently trained how to operate the vespas and led by Bijon, Daniele and Mido to San Gimignano who ensured our safety and took photos and videos for us on the way to San Gimignano. We loved the authentic Italian lunch served by sweet Gulia and prepared by Tiziana at Vecchio Maneggio. Issam joined to show us horses, beekeeping houses and archery on the property. We never felt rushed and the entire team made us feel like they enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed theirs. The tour itself is designed well but we feel the people mentioned truly made this an unforgettable experience.
