Great experience not only for foodies 😊. Additionally to the tastings and the food inspirations you also get a nice overview of Ortigia "island" ;) and get to know your way around much better. Dario is a perfect guide and you can feel his love for this place. Except for food he gives you plenty of other recommendations and is happy to help. A lot of extra information included and beautiful way to experience Ortygia. Thanks again :)

Dario was a fantastic guide, sharing a great food of the city as well as some of the cities, rich history and local spots “off the beaten path” Dario was engaging and knowledgeable. We had some of the best Grantia and definitely the best sandwiches of our trip! He pointed out areas of interest and even suggested additional tours we might be interested in. Don’t eat too much before the tour- and don’t plan a big meal soon after! The food was delicious and plentiful!

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal dabei und wie beim ersten Mal waren wir begeistert. Dario ist ein toller Guide, der es schafft, historisches Fachwissen unterhaltsam zu verpacken und verständlich und kurzweilig rüberzubringen. Die Stopps auf der Tour sind echte Highlights und die Verköstigungen kulinarische Geschmacksexplosionen. Gut, das ist natürlich vor allem auch der exquisiten sizilianischen Küche und den Leckereien der hiesigen Cafés zu verdanken. Wenn alles klappt, sind wir nächstes Jahr wieder dabei! Dario was a terrific tour guide! He is so proud to share the history of his island with us, and was focused on giving us a true Sicilian tour of Ortigia and the food offerings. He is so friendly. His English was very fluent. And the food, oh the food….. Everything was so tasty, and by the end you are soooooo full. He was even able to accommodate the vegetarian in the group without distracting from us meat eaters. Highly recommend taking this tour early in your stay.
