Cagliari: Guided Kayak Excursion in the Gulf of Cagliari

Kayak experience The landscapes are absolutely beautiful, Unfortunately, there was a bit of a language barrier. It felt like speaking Italian was almost necessary, as communicating in English was quite difficult for the local staff. This made it hard to fully understand the explanations and instructions. Overall, a beautiful setting, but the language barrier did affect the experience.

Definetly check the conditions before you book, because it can be quite rocky, if there are waves. The tour itself is very beautiful with amazing views. Me and my partner were not experienced, but the tour was very doable for us, even with some waves. The guide always took care of us and made sure we had a good time. He also brought homemade cookies, which were delicious.

Meandering along the coastline in crystal clear waters early in the morning was a sensory delight. Carlo our guide was great. He taught us the basics on how to kayak & brought Roberto along with us so there were at least two experienced guides to ensure everyone had a safe & enjoyable trip. There were stops for swimming along the way & tasty pastries at the halfway point. Bring a hat, the sun is hot & there is no shade. A lovely way to spend a morning on the Med before the hoards come out to play. Thank you Roberto for giving me a tow on the way back, my arms were tired. Carlo took photos of us all so we didn’t need to take phones & all our belongings were safely locked away in Carlo’s van. I highly recommend this trip

This experience was truly like no other. To experience the Gulf of Cagliari was exceptional. We are so grateful to Carlo, our tour guide, for making this experience very special. It is one we will never forget. Carlo taught us plenty about the history of Cagliari, the beautiful rocks along the coast and even the birds we saw. We had the chance to hop in-and-out of the kayak and enjoyed the clear, warm water. Carlo was an incredible guide. As a first time kayaker, he ensured that I felt supported and comfortable the whole time. Because of him, I can’t wait to kayak again. My partner has kayaked plenty before and the excursion supported people of all levels, without losing pace. Carlo was such a pleasure to meet. We were so grateful to have met him and to have had the chance to experience Cagliari this way. Thank you so much, Carlo, for sharing this beautiful experience with us. It was one that we will never forget.
