Guided Bus Tour to Mount Etna from Taormina

Wycieczka super. Szkoda ze nie było opcji przewodnika polskiego, ale Pan przewodnik po angielsku był mega uprzejmy i wszystko indywidualnie wytłumaczył prostymi zrozumiałymi słowami. Cenowo nie było tanio ale to jedyna opcja z giardini-naxos. Zatrzymalismy się na postój w taniej restauracji z darmowym WC to na duży plus. Wrazenia niezapomniane.

Guiden var väldigt kunnig och påläst. Alpinisten tog oss med på en lagom strapats. Däremot skulle jag önska att ni informerade mer om vilka kläder som är lämpliga. Att det kunde vara kallt och blåsigt som det var på turen. Vi hade rätt hyfsade kläderna oss ändå men en mössa hade varit lämpligt att ha. En familj gick i shorts, så jag tror på mer information för ” lämpliga kläder” kan tolkas på olika vis.

We enjoyed our trip very much. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and passionate about the volcano - he shared lots of information on both Etna's geology but also the history of the mountain and the are around. The bus took us right up to the departure place for the huge trucks which go higher up onto the volcanic plateau and two of our party took this additional trip ( they said it was spectacular and they would highly recommend paying the extra money to do this. ) The tour itself was well organised and communication between the tour operator and ourselves was really efficient. We were picked up and dropped off exactly where we were told, and at the correct time. The bus driver negotiated the mountain roads with care and some skill. Het leukst was dat Sicily Excursions zelf ons op voorhand heeft gecontacteerd om de juiste opstapplaats overeen te komen. De gids op de bus heeft heel veel informatie gegeven over Etna en Sicilië. Ook de alpine gids die ons beleid heeft, heeft heel veel informatie gegeven. Voor ons was het de meest perfecte uitstap die we gemaakt hebben. Dank aan allen die dit mogelijk hebben gemaakt

Die Abholung hat gut geklappt und der Guide war nett. Die Tour ging insgesamt nicht 6 sondern 8 Stunden. Man wird zu einem Parkplatz gebracht und hat 3 Stunden Freizeit. Dort gabs jedoch nichts zu sehen, weshalb man quasi gezwungen wurde die extra Tour nach ganz oben dazu zu buchen (70€ pro person). Auf der Spitze hatte man 10 Minuten zum Anschauen und danach ging es wieder nach unten, wo man noch einen Krater angeschaut hat. Diese Tour dauerte genau so lang, dass man direkt danach zum Bus zurück musste. Es blieb keine Zeit, um auf Toiletze zu gehen oder die Souvenirläden zu betreten. Anschließend fährt man in ein Restaurant, um Mittagspause zu machen ob man will oder nicht. Insgesamt also 6h in Bussen verbracht, um 30 Minuten was zu sehen und dann 1,5h Mittagspause zu machen. Nicht so wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte. Müsst ihr wissen…
