Etna 3000m: Adventure to Craters and Lunar Landscapes

Unfortunately there was low cloud so we didn't even get a glimpse of the vocal from a distance. The guide made the best of it he could, but the visibility was minimal and we couldn't take the cable car to the top. So overall the trip was a disappointment but not the fault of the company. The van was a bit rickety and in the fog it felt a bit scary!

Przewodnik Andrea odebrał nas punktualnie i towarzyszył nam przez całą wycieczkę, włącznie z wjazdem na Etnę i spacerze pod szczytem. Andrea dzielił się wieloma informacjami o historii, kulturze i samej Etnie. Mieliśmy atrakcje, których się nie spodziewaliśmy - degustacja lokalnych produktów, zwiedzanie jaskini, przystanki na zdjęcia. Grupa była kameralna a przewodnik cały czas się nami opiekował i dbał żeby wszyscy wsiedli bezproblemowo do kolejki, do której wsiada się w ruchu.

Even if we were picked-up late (due to some organization problem), the tour company quickly found a solution so that we could do the tour. André, our guide, was very nice and kind, he explained to us a lot of stuff and details and really took care of us and the group (he spoke to us in French and English). He was professional and authentic, which made our trip very good. They picked us up from our hotel. The tour started on the road, with some explanation on the way. We then reached the Etna with cable car and 4x4 to attain the 3000m: a local guide + André explained us many things. Then we went down and took the car with André to a special cave. He finally took to a local shop for degustation of local foods and wine! We then went back safely to Catania. We had an overall very good experience and we recommend it :) Don't forget to bring hiking shoes and good jackets, it can be cold and windy at 3000m ;) Thanks again André!
