Palermo Street Food Masterclass: Arancine, Panelle & Crocchè with a Local Chef

Misrepresented and total disappointment! I chose this event because it was a 4 hour, street food, hands on cooking class with a meeting point a 5 minute walk from where we were staying. Between the time I first booked it and the time we went, the event changed to a 3 hour hands on cooking class but still had the same meeting point. But then the chef turned it into a ‘get yourself to my place there is no meeting point’ event. Which was a 22 euro ride from where we were staying with a return, organized by the chef and using a ‘friend’ of his, turned into a 30 euro ride and sharing with another couple back to our area. The only ‘hands on’ we enjoyed was rolling 3 arancini. We didn’t cook anything but just sat in a cramped kitchen and watched the chef cook some street food. He also cooked ultra salty Carbonara which isn’t a street food. It felt rushed and the last hour was spent eating, chatting and waiting for the taxi, so not quite 3 hours of learning to cook.
