Palermo Private Sicilian Pasta Masterclass with Tasting

Kann man nur empfehlen! Sowohl die Abstimmung wie der Abend bei Giacomo hat uns sehr gefallen. Da wir nur zu zweit waren, kam der Kurs einer Privatstunde gleich. Wir haben an diesem Abend zwei verschiedene Nudelprodukt (Ravioli, Fettucine) hergestellt und konnten uns beim Ausrollen des Teiges ausprobieren. Ebenso beim Füllen und Formen der Ravioli. Die Stimmung war sehr entspannt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Giacomo erklärt jedes Gericht sehr genau und es gibt hier und da eine Kostprobe. Eine Leckerei waren die aus Kichererbsenmehl hergestellten Appetithäppchen mit Fenchel. Die Rezepte gab es im Vorfeld als PDF für zu Hause. Am Ende des Abends haben wir uns satt und zufrieden verabschiedet.

It was a really fun workshop and both of the hosts were very kind and they made a lot of jokes throughout the workshop. They gave us a notebook to write down the recipes which was really nice. The food was also very great. We’ve got five dishes in total, after we were very full. Their dog Peggy was also very sweet and helpful throughout the workshop! Overall we’ve had a great evening and we would recommend this activity :)

The pasta experience was absolutely fantastic, and the chef was exceptional. He took the time to explain every detail of the cooking process and walked me through each ingredient. We even had the pleasure of tasting wine paired with cheese. I appreciated his flexibility in accommodating my last-minute booking, but I recommend reserving in advance rather than on the day of your visit. The chef's warm hospitality made his home feel incredibly inviting, and he truly made the entire experience enjoyable. He made everything appear so simple that I left wanting to buy a pasta machine and start making my own pasta at home. Overall, it was an incredible experience! Huge thanks to the chef!

Giacomo was great! He was patient and tailored everything to fit my special deitary needs. I eat little meals because I have a problem digesting food , but I love tasting everything and cooking for my family. They are going to love the canolli. He is an artist of food. He personalized the lesson just for me. It is about a 45 minute walk from the train station, but I loved getting away from the tourists and seeing neighborhoods. You can also take a taxi.
